Rachel + Andy’s Fort Garry Hotel Wedding | A Day to Remember

Some days just stick with you in an extra special way—Rachel and Andy’s June wedding at the stunning Fort Garry Hotel was absolutely one of those. From the moment I met them, I knew they were the sweetest couple, and being chosen as the wedding photographer for their big day was such an honour.

A Connection That Just Clicked

You know those couples you meet and everything just clicks? That was Rachel and Andy for me. Their warmth, kindness, and love for one another was so genuine that it felt like photographing old friends. We started the day in Rachels childhood home with her Bridesmaids and her mom. The first look with the bridesmaids was also such a sweet moment.

A First Look Full of Emotion

One of the most beautiful moments of the day was their first look in the bar area of the Fort Garry Hotel’s iconic Crystal Ballroom. It was intimate, romantic, and so them. They followed it with personal vows—just the two of them, away from the crowd. Rachel’s voice trembled as she spoke words straight from her heart, and at one point, while wiping her nose, she exclaimed, “How do people do this in front of hundreds of people!?” We all laughed, but in that moment, it was clear what a privilege it was to witness such raw, beautiful love.

Their exchange was heartfelt and personal—proof that often times the quiet moments are the ones that leave the biggest impact.

We then headed out for their ceremony to make it all official and then straight to the reception at The Fort Garry Hotel's Crystal Ballroom. Let the party begin!
