✨ 2025 was my soft yes era✨

A little slower than thebyear before but still taking me to beautiful places like Kenora and Montreal. 🤍 Amazing collaborations with wedding creatives I admire, a magazine editorial dreamed up and brought to life, getting to get dressed up a ‘model’ myself and the honour of photographing some of my favourite businesses, including my own incredible hairstylist, an entire hair salon and the best bridal seamstress in Winnipeg. (Honestly, likely Canada)

It’s the in between moments that are often my favourites.

Sometimes they’re hard to catch, often it’s once I lower my camera that they quickly appear and pass just as swiftly.

But after 15 years of photographing people in love, I’ve learned how to snag them in the frame. With a little patience and a lot of heart, those fleeting, unscripted seconds become the ones that add depth, that round out the story, that stick with you.

Nope. Because here’s the thing…people can tell when you’re faking it. And no one wants forced enthusiasm.

They need someone who cares, who gets them, and hypes them up because they mean it.

Fortunately, I genuinely love what I do and hyping up my clients comes naturally because I see them, celebrate them, and capture them as they are.

Camille + Matthew had the most magical August wedding day so uniquely them! I loved every moment.

✨ they got ready together

✨ the wedding dress wasn’t floor length, nor did it have many layers or any boning. It’s was a custom, vintage inspired creation by the amazing @cwiebeclothes of the most beautiful lace & silk.

✨ there was no bridal party

✨ there was no ‘colour scheme.’ They fully trusted their florist @academyfloristweddings to make magic, and boy did they ever!

✨ they started off grabbing some ice teas at their fave local spot.

✨ the guest list was kept to only the closest family and friends

✨ there was no grand entrance, no long-winded speeches, no garter or bouquet toss

✨ THERE WAS HOWEVER, so much love, joy, laughs and tears and it was seriously the most relaxed and stress free day for everyone involved.

This summer was perfection.

7 couples while they said I do
3 growing families
5 engaged couples
2 events

I also went to the beach, swam in a lake, caught many fish, relaxed at a cabin, made new friends, floated down a lazy river, saw shooting stars, read 6 books, learned to make a new cocktail, celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary, played many card games and caught up with family from far away. 😊
