A little slower than thebyear before but still taking me to beautiful places like Kenora and Montreal. 🤍 Amazing collaborations with wedding creatives I admire, a magazine editorial dreamed up and brought to life, getting to get dressed up a ‘model’ myself and the honour of photographing some of my favourite businesses, including my own incredible hairstylist, an entire hair salon and the best bridal seamstress in Winnipeg. It’s the in between moments that are often my favourites.

Sometimes they’re hard to catch, often it’s once I lower my camera that they quickly appear and pass just as swiftly.

But after 15 years of photographing people in love, I’ve learned how to snag them in the frame. With a little patience and a lot of heart, those fleeting, unscripted seconds become the ones that add depth, that round out the story, that stick with you.

Nope. Because here’s the thing…people can tell when you’re faking it. And no one wants forced enthusiasm.

They need someone who cares, who gets them, and hypes them up because they mean it.

Fortunately, I genuinely love what I do and hyping up my clients comes naturally because I see them, celebrate them, and capture them as they are.
